For us at the Project Lynx XZ179, it is the devotion and passion for aviation and its historical roots. We remember the service and vital roles key aircraft have made in our countries efforts over time.
We have made it our aim to return these aircraft to their former glory and relieve them from their aircraft graveyards, so that they can be remembered in the way they deserve and for the roles they have played.
Our project founder Graham, has an instinctive passion for aviation, therefore you can be assured that we will give everything to ensure this project is completed to the highest standard.
We are based in Bury St Edmunds, and will be undertaking the project at North Weald Airfield. Project Lynx XZ179, is our first project, where we will be reviving a Westland Lynx XZ179 – one of the most important aircraft to the British forces in recent decades.
We are teaming up with Weald Aviation Ltd, who will be helping us to bring this aircraft back to life. Weald Aviation are experienced aviation engineers, who have a wide pedigree in such projects. Therefore you can have complete confidence in Project Lynx XZ179 being a flying success.
