• Newly arrived blades from Everett’s unloaded
• Blades cleaned and inspected externally, potentially serviceable blades put to one side
• Anti node weights removed from potentially serviceable blades, cleaned,
inspected, refitted and re-sealed.
XZ678:
• Tail rotor gearbox removed
• Tail rotor servo mounting plate removed, cleaned and inspected
• Tailplane removed
• Tail fin section cleaning begun, inspections carried out as cleaning progresses
• Tail rotor driveshaft NDT’s carried out.
XZ179:
• Finish inspection of potentially serviceable blades.
• Investigate Barometric Altitude Hold light.
XZ678:
• Continue cleaning and inspection of tail fin section.
• Begin cleaning and inspection of tail boom.
