AGS inspected, batched and logged

Work continued this week:

 ZD252 (G-NCKZ): 

  • Various newly arrived components and AGS inspected, batched and logged. 
  • Port collector tank low level float switch tested, found satis. 
  • New ring tags fitted to port collector tank low level float switch and float switch fitted. 
  • Cables in area of port collector tank low level float switch re-loomed as required. 
  • Fuel pipes in stbd aft belly bay removed for cleaning and inspection. 
  • Fuel pipes from stbd aft belly bay cleaned and inspected, found satis. 
  • Stbd main fuel tank internal pipes removed for cleaning and inspection. 
  • Stbd main fuel tank pipes cleaned and inspected, found satis. 
  • Stbd main fuel tank pipes refitted with new seals as required. 
  • Stbd main fuel tank mid-level fuel float switch tested, found satis. 
  • Stbd collector tank internal fuel pipes removed for cleaning/inspection. 
  • Stbd collector tank internal fuel pipes cleaned and inspected, found satis. 
  • New ring tags fitted to stbd main fuel tank low level float switch and float switch fitted. 
  • Cleaning and inspection of stbd main bag fuel tank begun. 
  • Refuel/defuel valve overhaul/re-sealing procedure investigated, manual acquired. 
  • Begin to strip refuel/defuel valves for re-seal. 
  • Investigate test/overhaul procedure for pressure switches. 
  • 25 and 50 amp circuit breakers in aft equipment bay fitted. 

 ZD266: 

  • No.2 ECU bay hoovered and cleaned. 
  • Area around MRGB hoovered and cleaned. 

 XZ179 (G-NCKS): 

  • Scheduled maintenance carried out as required. 

Work ongoing:

 ZD252 (G-NCKZ): 

  • Continue to rebuild/inspect port collector tank fuel system. 
  • Continue to rebuild/inspect stbd main fuel tank system. 
  • Continue to rebuild/inspect fuel system in aft belly area. 
  • Begin strip and inspection of port main fuel tank. 
  • Continue to rebuild/inspect stbd collector tank fuel system. 
  • Continue overhaul/re-seal of refuel defuel valves. 
  • Fit new ring tag terminals to cut cables in aft avionics bay and reconnect newly fitted circuit breakers. 

ZD266: 

  • Continue to clean airframe to facilitate inspection.
